By now you will have witnessed “Tongue-Gate” and the ensuing “Wrecking Ball” of press that succeeded it. The VMA’s 20013 where spawn of Billy Ray finger wagged, protruded tongue and took part in the Twerk. A move that up until recently was called shakin your ass… Groove Armada wrote about it…
Can you remember the tune of Wrecking Ball? I can’t but the monster that is Miley Cyrus has enveloped us all whether we like it or not. Now we must stand as she and her team will attempt to deliver hit after hit, rapid fire over the next two to three years. The machine is a marvel and we must abide.
The trouble with “We Can’t Stop” is that it’s a good pop song, and that fact pisses me off. This POP bitch-et who eclipsed Ga Ga at the VMA’s is now all around us, unleashed upon the world. Groomed it seems from birth, here to produce sound that will get air play everywhere!
