Some of the worlds biggest pop acts regularly lip-synced to backing tracks of their current hits, but where did this leave DJ’s and producers who had began to permeate the world of POP? \u00a0 DJ’s basically make a living standing behind a table watching other people have fun and for “TOTP” the boundless energy and peaks and troffs of a 5 hour DJ set needed to be crammed into a three to five minute performance of a recent cross-over dance track.
