I bought my first ‘Shane D’ track last year, a remix of Etta James, “Etta’s Jam”*. \u00a0Although that now famous sample has been used many many times before I loved the construction of the beats and the rolling chunky bass line.<\/p>\n

‘Something’s Got A Hold of Me’ \u00a0was sampled by \u00a0Avicii, \u00a0and Flo Rida in 2011 and as far back as Bachelors Of Science<\/a>\u00a0in 2005 plus many others. \u00a0But it was the scratchy disco high pitched guitar on Shane’s remix that really stood out for me. \u00a0If you take a closer look at Shane’s latest production you can clearly see a line of heritage from track to track, a bit like BMW’s earlier production models have similar traits through each new generation.<\/p>\n
