Scotland says “No” in the recent vote for independence. \u00a0A small margin, but a no vote all the same. \u00a0If the final decision wasn’t rigged in some way then this is a perfect example of democracy in action. \u00a0I ‘m not suggesting it was, but when all UK party leaders hastily hotfoot it up to Scotland a mere week before the vote to campaign for the continued union it did seem like an independent Scotland was a possibility. \u00a0This also seems to be the only time all parties were united on one subject in recent years. \u00a0Giving you an idea just how important the “Oil rich” highlands are to the Westminster cronies and the people who really run the country. \u00a0The idea of the UK without Scotland attached does seem a sad prospect, but a tiny part of me did want the Scots to say “Fuck You” \u00a0to David Cameron the “Banksters”, and corporate entities who will continue to reap the benefits behind the scenes. \u00a0William Wallace is probably turning in his grave.<\/p>\n
