I used to commute to London from Brighton in 2011. \u00a0I did that shit for almost six months, up at five every morning, shower, change etc then a drive to the station, and on the 6:15 to ‘Victoria’. \u00a0The first week I was excited, like a kid going to sleep before a trip to “Alton Towers”<\/span><\/a><\/span>. \u00a0Then after a week or so the whole event became a fucking great deluge on my morning mood. I loathed that journey, and this morning I was reminded as I drove my ‘GF’ to the station. \u00a0Today is a Monday, and I wonder how many more people cram themselves onto the late train and then the tube wishing they could just walk away from their lives….?<\/p>\n

Why am I talking about this bullshit? \u00a0Because last night I watched a TV show on BBC 3 (UK) called ‘The Revolution Will Be Televised’. The first episode of the second series, and \u00a0a generally hilarious swipe at authority, power and culture, whilst at the same time underpinning many issues bugging the British tax payer. \u00a0 ‘Jolyon Rubinstein’ and ‘Heydon Prowse’ don ridiculous outfits and inhabit numerous characters. \u00a0“MP’s” a “Nike Re-branding Team” and “Hitler”! \u00a0I laughed out loud at many points throughout the show, particularly at a section where they block the entrance to the\u00a0Network Rail Offices<\/span><\/a><\/span> because of “Vital refurbishment and maintenance”. \u00a0It brought to mind all the times I was late because of the fucking train companies. \u00a0I have posted a clip at the bottom from the last series and a link to last nights show.<\/p>\n
